Ive got 14 in total no more to hatch. 9 runners and 5 calls. Did have 10 runners but sadley my husband had to put the poorly one to sleep.. there just sooooo messy. did you get my message about the puppy pads there great...

Yes I did thanks, I bought some rubber mats to use this time round and they have been working well. I just need to give them a quick rinse under the outside tap a couple times a day and pop them back in ready for them to mess up again!

She is georgous! i cant wait to see what colours my turn out to be.

Well my original egg that was doing a bunch of wiggling is no longer moveing BUT the egg that wasnt doing any wiggling now hatched. The guinea eggs still techincally have 1 more day until hatch and now neither are moving. So looks like well have to wait and see what happens.

Hmmm was just looking at some other hatching video of Rouens because I was thinking the color is wrong. And well all the rouen ducklings are born dark with a little yellow and a black bill and feet. My baby has bright orange feet, a smudge of black on the bill and is mostly yellow with a little dark coloring on the soon to be fluff. Could this be a different duck?

The duck in the pic? It looks more welsh harlequin colored to me.
