Have you got another photo of her? You can usually tell better when there all fluffed upHmmm was just looking at some other hatching video of Rouens because I was thinking the color is wrong. And well all the rouen ducklings are born dark with a little yellow and a black bill and feet. My baby has bright orange feet, a smudge of black on the bill and is mostly yellow with a little dark coloring on the soon to be fluff. Could this be a different duck?

That'll close up within a few hours usually. Just make sure you have something soft on the incubator bottom so it doesn't catch on anything. Very cute duckling.![]()
I dont what she is but i bet she turns out to be the best looking! I have a cross marans that was supposed to be a Wheaton but shes crossed with a cuckoo marans and shes so pretty! Hows the guinea eggs?Ok so the thingy I asked about earlier is barely there now. Baby is mostly fluffy and I moved it to the brooder quickly. Today is day 29 (or 28 if you dont count the day I put them in) I have 1 duck egg left and the 2 guinea eggs. I bought the duck eggs to be specifically Rouens BUT lol this duckling is deffinitly not. I'm thinking Silver Appleyard duckling? What do you guy think?
ETA: I heard back from the lady I bought the eggs from. (off ebay) and she says she has Rouens and Pekins only. So looks like baby is a mix.
