4 of my 5 ducks have pipped. I am no longer using high humidity when hatching ducks. It's a bunch of hogwash.

It was a test hatch for a friend, who changed her screenname here and I have no idea what it is now. I was talking to her here and I didn't even know it was her. LOL!

The olive egger is the Marans rooster over an Ameraucana hen. The few that know of that are old enough to lay are laying awesome olive eggers.

If they are girls, that is...

I have a question. Are olive eggers a certain breed, like Ameraucanas lay true blue eggs, or can any mixed breed lay them? I ask because I have one and I have NO CLUE which one it is!!!

I know what an Olive Egger is, just didn't remember you had a Marans rooster for some reason. Ok, cool suprise, then! And good because the Lav Amer x BCM baby Kathy sent didn't make it-I just removed it from the bator.

Nick, block method? I lay them on their sides and turn them separately, never hatch in cartons like some folks do, if that's what you mean.

Darn BRs and blue Rocks are really worrying me. The three other NHs are making larger pips, though.
