Thanks, I'll try to round up the BBS Rocks if it's possible. I have three hens I hatched from eggs from Kathy over a year ago, two blues and a black. That's why I wanted more of them--I love the blue Rocks.

I'm picking up BBS Rocks from Halo on the way home Sunday. May have some extras, or might be able to bring you some next trip if you don't get what you want out of this hatch. Stan, that is so nice, but yeah, I think I have enough babies to feed. Thank you, though! Here are the BBS Rocks, all 5 of them, but couldn't get them together.

Boy do you take some great pictures! Do you have a big lens on that camera?

I think that light one is a light blue. Ive had so few splash that I really cant remember, but I think the splash are very obviously white at hatch.

I'm sure she's light blue, too, after observing her for awhile (note the "her"). The splash is sort of a silvery creamy color, very different than the other one. I'm thinking that the really light blue is like my Alice. She's such a delicate, almost crystal-blue color. I just wasn't expecting a super light blue because I've seen your more recent stock with their darker color and nice lacing.

Cyn they are adorable and I am almost positive that baby is a light blue...but there is only one way to find out....you must bring that one and the splash with you and give them to me....A they grow up, I will let you know if she is blue.

I wish they'd do a freeze frame so I could actually count them as a group! I keep trying, even though I put hash marks when each one hatched and added them all up, and it comes up more than 44. Not sure how that's even possible. I'll have to wait for a huge group nap to count the little critters!

ya can't blame a girl for trying...you know I love Blue chickens. I cannot wait to get my hands on Adonis and start lavishing him with treats and loves and Junebug too.

Very nice BBS Rock chicks!! Thank you for posting pics - I reeally appreciate it. It's fun to compare to mine.......
Mine look similar to yours, except for that #4 chick! All of mine have varying degrees of yellow on their face/head and lots on their chests. That one of yours is a really pretty solid color blue. I also got more dark ones - still trying to figure out on a couple if they are really dark blue or black. Pretty either way.

Is the chick in the 1st pic the one you're trying to decide if it's blue or splash? I have one very similar to that and she's (yes, she's a she I'm sure! I hope) feathering out blue. I have two yellowish chicks with a hazy greyish overtone, which I assumed were splash, and one of them now is just starting to have some dark 'specks' in his feathers. They are so fun to watch change daily!

Congrats on your successful hatch and have fun with ALL those little babies! I can't imagine taking care of 40 some chicks!!
