Set 86 Eggs Tonight *FORTY-FOUR Hatched--Hatch Over *

Sure is odd. Sound like the temps are a bit low, but if you are sure, then it can't be that. Wierd.

I used the Spot Check in the other bator most of the way and a Taylor with probe in the other one, plus a Fluker inside. When the Taylor started acting up (it no longer agreed with the Fluker inside the bator), I moved the Spot Check over to check and all seems fine.

We now have 27 chicks hatched, several more pipped, out of bator #1. Bator #2 still have two NH's pipped and nothing else I can see.

The last two D'Anvers were dead-in-shell, no idea why. They seemed to be fully formed and in position to pip, but one had been gone probably since Day 17-18 and the other later, it seemed. The last Buff Orp zipped all the way then died for some reason. It was a huge baby.

One of the BLRWs is very dark, blackish. Will that be a black laced red? There is one more of those pipped and one I'm not sure about. There are about 5 EE and/or Ameraucanas pipped. Can't tell about the BCM egg, though it doesn't appear pipped as far as I can tell.
