Then you can help me sex the BRs.

There are only 3 out of the 8 with dark leg fronts, I think, so guess there are 3 pullets and 5 cockerels. However, one with a tiny head spot has no dark on the leg fronts, so who the heck knows?One of those has a larger than normal head spot for a girl, but dark legs just like my Lexie did as a baby, fooling even some BR experts for awhile.

These are not hatchery Rocks, so it's entirely possible that a pullet will not have dark on the leg fronts.

I'm so sorry. There may be extra pullets in other breeds, though.

Cyn, I didn't get eggs from you, but a friend of yours with blue marans. Sadly, none hatched. I'm working on Wellies right now and my blue slate turkeys. Love your babies. They are great.

Are you sure? I could have sworn I sent you some eggs. Maybe it's just that we had so many conversations way back then. Must be reverse senility--instead of forgetting things that happened, I'm remembering things that didn't, LOL.
