Wondering if anyone has done this or if it will work?

I have a hen that reliably goes broody...Once she sets for a bit can I order chicks and place them underneath her...i have no roosters/ fertilized eggs and ordering chicks seems more economical to get the breeds I want. Also, will she take care of 15 chicks?

It may work...it may not work. Just depends on the chicken. I have never done it but I have heard people say that it worked, and I have heard people say that the hen rejected the chicks.
