Set date 7/2/12 ...need hatching buddies

I set 8 eggs yesterday (July 4th) and I expect them to hatch between July 31st and August 2nd. They are Indian Runners and Muscovy ducks.
For the Indian Runners there will be Black, Fawn, and Fawn n White. The Muscovies are Chocolate, Chocolate Pied, Black Pied, and white.

Hope all of you watch the himidity level , i hatch 2 / week and i learn the lot ,high humidity chicks grow so fast and when the hatch time come,not able to broke the egg shel because they cant move and they die in the eggs.

Just make sure you have incubator in hand, my 3 hen stand up because so hot weather.

I do not like this still air incubator. I can not get the temperature regulated. When I did the forced air one I got it done easy this one is gonna drive me crazy. On top of eggs shows 99.5 but on the bottom of incubator 104.9.

Anyone know how to get this still air incubator to regulate. I have eggs arriving today that need to go in there. I am addicted to my chickens.

Well,they're in the shade under our golf ball washer machine. It's actually pretty nice under there, nothing can get in, but chickens can get out! . And I'm so excited.... I just had to candle 3 eggs, 1 bantam, 1 blue egg, and 1 white egg. ALL HEALTHY! I saw veins! And an eye! Or heart... I don't know...?

Out of 10... I have 7 left. Except one has a crack.... but the only ones I can really see are the bantam eggs. One (out of 3) is moving like crazy!!! I'm calling him/her Faith

I have 22 that go on lockdown on the 20th. I am not sure about alot of them. Still new to this should I leave them in there or go ahead and take them out.
