Oh, I know . I only do about one. The last time I did more than one was on day 13. But I'm not candling anymore.

Out of 22 eggs less than half of them look like they are even close to hatching on the 23rd. Don't know what is wrong with these eggs or me hatching this batch. First set I got 50% hatch rate.

I had one that was totally round shaped and it ended up being nothing in it. I really hope I have alot of babies out of this bunch. I have 5 out of my first hatch. I set 22 Black Sex Link Jersey Giants and 2 of my barred rock/dominique mix. I know the 2 of mine are good can see them moving around in there. The 22 not so sure on them.

Hope some of them make it.

One egg ended up with a crack and was oozing stuff out. It was green inside. Then I checked the ones due to be on lockdown on 24th. And out of 35 only 13 were possibly good. Then I had one of lavender orpington eggs was not good. Glad I got 6 more of them.

Yeah they are shipped eggs. They seem to have done great but I had a still air incubator that did not want to keep temp right. I added a fan maybe the next batch will do better. If I don't look at the temp and it is 109. I know the eggs in there now are fried.

I need HELP !!!
I set my 7 of my chicken eggs on 02july..in a stillair incubator..
Now it's the morning of day 20...i don't see any peeps...is it worrying???
I last candled them when they were day 17,before lockdown...they were moving very active in the eggs..!
The temperature has always been 100-101degreesF...humidity is 63% for the last three days....
WHY ARN'T THERE ANY PIPING??!!!
PLEASE HELP!!

I set four, but have two left, on the same day, if you set them on the 2nd then today is only day 18 so it is still early. I am not expecting mine until the 23rd. Hope that helps
