Set eggs 3/5. Looking for others to hatch with!

Day 22 and I had one this morning I already posted about, and while we did physicals at the DR for the 2 youngest, we had another pip and zip. It is working its way out as I type! It is another EExNN!

I have a big crack on the side of another egg. The first egg that had a pip is still doing nothing. Anxious to see its arrival and know it's alive. No more babies are trying to get out yet, but maybe I just can't see some things because they're in the egg crates. Hoping tomorrow morning I wake up to some chicks!

Hey All!! I have put my first batch (18 welsummers) in lockdown last night!! So this afternoon I was walking by the incubator and I HEARD PEEPS!!! Hatch day isn't until Wednesday, but when I candled them as I put them in the hatcher last night I seen 2 that were trying to internally pip. So NOW I can't stop staring at the incubator!! I need a chicky intervention!!

Congrats! One of my was trying to internally pip when I put it into lockdown too. They are supposed to hatch today, but I still haven't seen or heard anything. I figure if they don't start chirping by tomorrow night, I'll candle them. I'm hoping that they do something before then though. Good Luck

Congragulations!! Lucky you, chicks coming early. I have a great crack in one of my RIR eggs and one small pip. The litle pip happened earlier today and it hasn't progressed at all so I'm still hoping it's alive. Please, please, please...I can't do one more chick alone.

Still no. I'm a little worried now, but I have had a chick hatch 2 days late, so I'm hoping that's the case....

My one egg that was due tomorrow hatched while we are at softball practice first egg my little d'uccle laid this year and now we have a new baby I have 3 more due on Friday, same hen.

What did you keep your humidity at during incubation and what were your temps? I am no expert by any means, but I have learned a lot from my mistakes.

WWC-When my first egg pipped, it did nothing for about 11 hours. Then when it started zipping, it hatched out within the hour. If it doesn't hatch before you go to sleep, it probably will by morning.

What do you mean by "a big crack" in the RIR egg? How many eggs do you have in the incubator?
