I set four Jungle fowl eggs one sex-link and one silverlace in my home made incubator any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Temp-100-102 average but it drops a little during egg turning , humidity is between 45-60 , I plan on candling tomorrow if that is the proper thing to do

and unless you have candled befor its very hard to see anything early on you can cadle if you want but i'd leave it till day 7 or 10 when you would be able to see the eye and form which is easyer to do alot of the more advanced people dont candle until day 7-10

Are you using a fan? If so the temp needs to be a little lower. 99-99.5. Don't disturb the eggs until day 7. If turning by hand, do it at least 3 times per day.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
