Good luck!

Alright, So I dont have turners. So I have the eggs in cartons, And one end on a peice of wood about 2 inches high, and I just slide the wood to the other end when I need to turn them.. will this work or is unsufficient?

I was candling an egg and accidently dropped it.. it did not break. But the yolk or embryo is loose now.. Will this effect the embryo?

Got a few egg turners, Had 25 eggs to hatch 21st then 12 for 26th and checked em today, 17 did not develope any and one quit. The rest are developing perfectly and put 8 more in today. Whohoo. This is so fun!

I set eggs on the second, and have an estimated Aug 23rd hatch. Your carton/wood block method is very sufficient. Just try not to use foam cartons. Those paper mache/cardboard boxes work great, with a hole on the bottom of each egg "socket" to create air flow.

As for the loose yolk, I'm not sure if that will affect your embryo growth. Candle it in a few days(if you didn't already) to see if it has more veins or larger mass.
