A buddy of mine called me up around noon today to tell me he and his son were walking their property and discovered the first guinea clutch of spring. He collected 48 eggs. I put them in the incubator at 5pm this evening. The whole clutch looked really well with only about 10 or so with any signs of "poop". We will see in 28 days.

Congrats! I know my guineas are laying but I don't know where. I have Pearl, Pied, Violet and Buff. I would love to hatch out of them this year. Good Luck!

SURPRISE, SURPRISE

I opened the incubator to prepare for lockdown and was greeted with peep-peep. This is day 25 and one had pipped and zipped and was out of the shell -- and this was a dry hatch. YIKES

, This was one determined little guinea keet. Humidity now up to 70+ and baby keet is laying there taking a break. Everyone is excited that the hatching is starting. We ended up with around 30 eggs at lockdown.
