Going to be setting a dozen Araucana eggs this Saturday.
Is there anything I should know ahead of time in regards to this breed in regards to incubation?

I have had great success so far with barnyard mixes and some EE eggs following "normal incubation pratices"

This will be the first time for pure breds.

Araucana are extremely difficult to hatch especially shipped eggs. Most importantly is to not get your hopes up for a 100% hatch. Actually if you hope for only 1 to hatch then the rest is a bonus.

I recommend incubating at 25% humidity and then raise the humidity to about 45% for the last 3 days. Some lines hatch early and some hatch late so don't panic either way.

You will love the araucana. They are a very fabulous breed and quirky in nature.
