On Wed, 3 of 10 hatched, 1 died, and the rest , well I think the turmoil of traveling to a location with electricity prooved too much and they didn't hatch. THanks Hurricane Irene for the power outage of 5 days. Have other eggs still in the incubator--little worried about their fate, too. TIme will tell. At least I know my home made incubator works!

So nice to see every one's little ones!

We had a "short" poweroutage of around 1 1/2 hours!

I stuck my 30 eggs in the oven (it has a pilot light), it stays around 10 with the door shut, so I just had them setting on the door (open) of the oven where it stayed around 100. I have eggs that are going into lockdown Monday/Tuesday, I sure hope they're OKAY!!
