I'm gona call it big foot or maybe something to do with crab or lobster??? Kinda looks like a claw! LOL

Its to bad it has bad toes cause otherwise it looks like it would probably be a decent bird otherwise! Good toe spacing and should have a nice crest : (
Oh well should be easy to sell as a pet for someone who likes odd or weird things!

Aw, what a cutie! In humans, the hand malformation is called ectrodactyly. Maybe it could be named Dacky. I had 3 chicks hatch from a silky mix mom (had an extra toe on 1 foot) and unknown roo, 1 chick has 5 toes each foot, 1 has a single foot with an extra toe and 1 chick has no extra toes, but feathered legs; genetics is a funny thing.

I think Dacky is a good roo name, but I like the ending Tilly for a pullet.

I like Tilly also. How are your eggs doing? It's only 5 days for my eggs, but I candled anyway and I can see veining in about 30 of 42 eggs. My first hatch was just a few weeks ago and I didn't get a good LED flashlight till near the end so I really was clueless for most of the incubation. Now that I know so many eggs have started, I'm going to be upset if they don't keep going. Maybe being in the dark wasn't such a bad thing.

K just candled my eggs set on the 18th......out of fifteen i had one clear egg, two that had developed but were not moving, twelve that had developed and were moving, this is after two poweroutages not too bad!
