Setting eggs 1st day of spring..who's with me?

OMG, I have a pip!!!! This is my first time incubating, so excuse the excitement, LOL! It is one of my homebred mutts...Game Rooster x with Buff Orp or Barred Rock. Hopefully the remaining 16 will start soon.

This is so egg-citing, LOL! I went off to go to the bathroom and change clothes, and when I came back, there was another egg pipped! Another of my mutt eggs. I hope my shipped eggs will start pipping soon, too. Now I need to order more eggs!

OK - end of day 20 now. I have 2 out (1 still kicking off the shell as I type). and 6 more w/o pips.

Hmmm. I'll give them a couple more days because its still early for them.

Both of the chicks are feather footed FBC Maran's - I bet they are both roosters!

Ohh, I hope you get more pips soon! I have 4 pips as of tonight - all my homegrown mutts. Hopefully my shipped eggs will start pipping soon, and the ones that have pipped will hatch soon.
