Hello all, I ordered eggs to participate in the hatch along, but one of my orders wont be shipped until tomorrow. Should I hold the first batch of eggs and set them all at the same time? Or start the first batch as planned and then add the second batch to the incubator a day later? Any tips or advice would greatly be appreciated as this is my first attempt at hatching.

Thanks,
John

Personally I’d start them all at the same time, provided they arrive somewhat close together. Sometimes things happen in shipment.

Waiting a day won’t decrease the hatchability of those eggs significantly. It may even help the air cells get straightened out a bit if they were shaken pretty badly during shipping. By starting them all at the same time you avoid the stress of deciding how to handle turning and humidity issues later on.
