I was collecting eggs today and in my basket I have a piece of that nesting stuff that chicks are shipped on. I wonder can you use that in a hova-bator like a natural nest, eggs seem not to roll around as they do with nothing on wire. What do you all think, could it work?

Air has to be able to circulate around the eggs. Personally I would not use any "used" material for risk of contamination.
I've tried that non-slip shelf liner stuff with holes, but I don't like it either. I decided on the egg carton hatching if you don't have a turner. Happy Hatching !

I see I wouldnt use the old ones, I think can get it at the hatchery.
