Choked and almost spit my tea on the computer monitor.

I know dont have any eggs set in but am gonna live vicariously for a while with you guys , if you dont mind, while i defrag from hatching. WEEN my way off...

Ok this is my first hatching experience so I'm alittle nervous. Got my 14 EE eggs this morning will put in tonight. Also my Sizzle went broodie on the 15th so she is sitting on 4 sizzle/silkie eggs
Date Sept 15 set- 4 sizzle/silkie
Date sept 25 set- 14 EE

So glad you joined us. I have Silkies hatching for the next 3 days. 1 is out, 1 pipped and 8 to go. Lots of fun on these hatch-a-longs. You learn a ton of information from everyone.

Hi Deb! Glad you joined You will love these ppl But warning ....its VERY addicting..... the hatch and the ppl too.
I have learned new things on EVERY hatch.

Not yet. There is still the singleton and 2 pips now. I will post pics once the other 2 hatch and are fluffed up. I usually leave them in the incubator for a day or so before taking them out.

I didn't see this thread when I posted mine, and nobody replied to mine. I am the forum newbie with no friends. lol! Do you mind if I sit with you?

My eggs should have been here today but alas, they were not. I'm hoping for tomorrow, and then I will let them sit for 12 hours and put them in the bator.

Candled 2nd bator tonight and the only egg not viable right now looks like my Delaware

.......... I'm really hoping it's just coz it's day 4 and I can't see thru the egg properly (it is a pretty porous egg). Will candle the 16 SBEL's on Saturday, but as of now all the barnyard mutts 'growing like boeings'

The more the merrier!! It is late in the season and not a lot of people are hatching at this time of the year. There are only a few of us on this thread. What kind of eggs are you getting? Mine are going to be here tomorrow morning

according to the tracking number. The post office is going to call me as soon as they come in so I can go pick them up. Be prepared chick hatching is very addicting!!!
