thank you all for the advice. glad to hear all the good news and really sorry to hear about the poor little chick that expailed its yoke sac. Getting more excited knowing here in a few days lockdown begins for me. happy hatching everyone...bacm i go to expanding my coop

12 rir and 1 dominque mix chick hatched now i have silkie eggs in lockdown in my incubator and some under my broody hen, her eggs should hatch sat and mine should hatch mon... im going to start another batch on the 29th once I gather up enough eggs.

I lockdown Sunday night with my Silkies so we will be hatching together.

That's cool..you know i really wish they had a mobile version of backyard chicken...would make it so much easier to talk on here.

They are adorable!!! I love the poofy heads. I have 4 bearded in the brooder now and 16 non-bearded that go into lockdown on Sunday night.
