4 Lav
3 Buff
1 Blk
1 Porc
1 Part
3 White
15/24 Shipped eggs not too bad. Now the stress level starts to climb.

I started letting the eggs sit for 12 hours to get to room temp before setting them in the incubator. Then when I place them in the incubator I don't turn them for 7 days. I let everything settle inside and start developing. I candle them before starting to turn and I can see the embryos and veining starting nicely. I know they are off to a good start and can get rid of the non developers/blood rings at the same time. They say that the first 5 days are the most crucial in development and I think by not turning them for that long you are giving them an extra chance at getting started.Congrats do far ! Pretty exciting you did do well with shipped!Cant wait to here when they hatch.
Locking the kids down???? lol...I think you should be doing that...Soon as the kids go to bed im locking them down and candling one last time
Sorry to hear about your lossI went out to feed the chickens and check on the chicks @ 5am and seen I lost the smallest serama, her buddy had jumped out the box and she had no chick to get next to for warmth so I assume she got to cold, so now I'm left with a lone serama chick, maybe I'll have to hatch some more but not sure yet.
