Setting eggs today (7/20), anyone else?

I woke up this morning to 10 fluffy babies. One had gotten out of the egg but passed away and two eggs have no pips. Here's pics of some of the new babies. These are all barnevelders. Poor Millicent is going crazy trying to keep 10 of them in line!

OK I had to wet the sponge and add more water, it is evaporating out quick, so i put the lid back on and i m watching with the flashlight to see what the humidity goes to, nd i hear a peep! ooh so exciting. of coarse now i hear nothing, see nothing and theyre doing nothing. dh wants to go look at houses tommorrow, which is hatching day, if nothing is still happening maybe i will... this is driving me Nuts! could they maybe have pipped on the bottem? like where i cant see? *sigh* its like xmas but you woke up before the sun and know darned well you cant wake the parents yet.

Ha ha, when am I not setting eggs? Put a bantam EE in the incubator today just because ...well BECAUSE and then I put in a few more duck eggs to see if that stupid drake has finally done his job(I have seen him but the eggs haven't been fertile yet!

oh oh !!!!!!! i HAVE ONE PIPPING!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! now HATCH DANG YOU!!!!!! how on earth will i SLEEP tonight??? geez! oh man oh man! (can ya tell i m excited???? first hatch!!!!)

mathew what is that yellow stuff trailing on your peep? is that normal? eew. maybe i CAN wait for mine to hatch?

Just remember, no matter how impatient you get, DO NOT OPEN THE INCUBATOR! It can take 24-48 hours from pip to hatch, so just be patient and everything will be fine

I now have 3 pips and am anxious for the other 4 to pip as well (they're officially due tomorrow). I'm excited about seeing my first EE chicks!

5 of my 10 chicks hatched and 9 of my 16 quail have all popped out!! This is my best hatch yet and its not done!!!
