What about the two that had pipped? Any progress on them?

My EE chick made it out. I have been assuming since she beats my showgirl up every morning that the dad was my Black Copper Maran but now that the chick is out - I'm not so sure who the dad is. The chick is blue with a yellow tummy. Mom is blue and gold and my show girl is white - but has thrown a lot of blue chicks and some gold colored.

I guess I will just watch and see how it grows.

I'm done hatching now - and I have to say I'm glad for now. These guys will get just big and feathered enough for the cold weather before it hits. If I started any more eggs, I would have to brood them inside for part of the winter.

The hatching has begun. I candled a few days ago and still had 30 developing. So far I have 2 hatched and one zipping. WOOHOO!
