I'm so jealous!! My husband is being very stubborn about us getting any peacocks!!

What kind of peacocks are you hatching? What do the eggs look like? How long is the incubation period?

they are purple pied peacocks. the eggs look like a chicken egg but bigger.the eggs are a light tan .it takes 28 days to hatch.

Any other requirements or are they the same as chickens.

My neighbor has a pair and I thought I'd ask him for a couple of eggs.

    thanks
