Hello fellow chicken lovers! I know pretty much all there is to know about chickens but one thing I always have problems with is moving a setting hen. I have tried to move her (at night) to a separate location where she can sit in her own nest without being bothered and can safely hatch her chicks, yet, each time I have tried, she gets off her nest and starts "crying" to the other chickens and won't get back on the nest. When I move her back to the pen with the other chickens, she continues to go to the nesting box and set on the eggs. Any advice or instruction on how to move her without disturbing her?
