setting hens

is it true that hens hatched from incubators will be non-setters even though they are cochins and silkies? i had someone tell me this and i want to know the answer. thanks a new egg

most certainly not.
all breeds can/could go broody. just some more than others.
it doesnt matter where they hatched from.
