Setting Naraganset

So I will be setting 3 dozen Naraganset turkey eggs tonight.

Just looking for some advice/info if anyone has hatched these before. This is my first go with turkey eggs, I have done loads of chicken eggs.

Hi, turkey incubation is practically the same as incubating chickens, but longer, make sure to raise the humidity during hatching time

Going good!

I candled last night and all were good, except the fact I dropped one. *Poof* there goes $5 lol. Had a nice looking embryo tho.

Today is day 7.

I will post some pics of my next candling.

Just teasin.. Glad to hear they are looking good. My turkey was hard to candle early, but got better the longer it grew.

Yeah, these eggs seem like they are very thin shelled.

When I checked the egg I dropped, I needed a knife to get through the membrane, it was thick!
