I am getting a few eggs that are either very oval or round and I wasn't sure how to orient them in the turner. I can't tell which end was the pointy end. What to do?

You have to shine a bright flashlight in there to see where the aircell is. It's usually just a very small round shadow, smaller than a dime. I hold the egg upright and shine my little LED flashlight from the other end. If I don't see the aircell, I try the other end. Sometimes, you just cant see it, but most of the time you can.

On the ones that I couldn't see an aircell I lay them alongside the turner for a few days and then check them again. After a few days have passed the aircell usually has grown enough it's easier to see.

That is a great tip. I love this site because I learn something new everyday
