I don't think everyone sees wiggling.. Out of 26 eggs, I've only seen 4 wiggle.. And a lot of times it's very subtle so you may just be missing it....

Ok, I went on lockdown yesterday, I had no eggs wiggling or moving at all!

Should I be worried? Cause I am getting worried and don't want to be.

Dont worry! We didnt see many wiggles either... and if we did we questioned whether the table was bumped. No pips until day 20 and that was only 1. Our first little hatchling is looking great and we have another pip this morning... I really hope they dont go one a day! We had to set when we did and we have to leave this weekend (for the weekend) so I am REALLY hoping that we will not have any late babies. I will have someone at the house but I dont want to miss them!!!

Now here is something else I am trying to figure out. Our new hatchling is black with a goldish head. I had seperated my Bantams before the hatch and I thought I seperated with enough time before collecting the eggs. They were apart from the other roos for probably 3 weeks- a month at least. And the other roos never really bothered the Bantams anyway. Ok sooo I put my Mille Fluer d'Uccle Roo with my Mille Fluer d'Uccle hen and our silver sebright hen in a pen together. We thought we could tell the eggs apart but have had no luck with that. so unless we watched it come straight from the bird, we really dont know who layed the egg.

Anyway... I dont remember our d'Uccle chicks being black so Im curious if this is a d'Uccle/ Sebright egg? Any ideas on what a d'Uccle/ Sebright chick would look like? It does have feathered feet. Im thinking I will also post on the breeds/genetics part of the forum but wanted to see if anyone here has any guesses. LOL We are just so very excited to have at least one of our fuzzybutts! Im really curious what it will look like as it grows???

I'll be posting pics soon of the babies... Looks like this little pip is working pretty fast today, hopefully I will have pics of several babies today.

Thank you, momiphouph! The support from everyone on here, helps a lot!

Ok, your mix breed chick could come out with feathered feet or cleaned legged, but that is just me. I think if you had several of those eggs, you would probably get 1/2 feathered feet, 1/2 not. Keep us posted, would love to see a pic!
