One hatched unwillingly, mama hen pecked the egg and blood went everywhere I thought it may be coming from the chick's body so I helped itout the rest of the way, it was the blood from the membrane, poor thing is having a hard time but I think it will make it.
I have seven left and three that I know of have pipped.
I'm worried that she'll attack her other babies once they hatch out, first time hatcher for both of us, should I trust her and hope she doesn't want to kill them?

Silkies..... haven't started names yet but we already have a Sweeny Todd in the pen, yep we are warped, and please excuse the fuzzy ones of the slpash babies, my camera does NOT like that color!

And the silkie/EE mix.... trying to figure out a good name, mother is Seven (of Nine), and according to the article linked below the pic it's a girl, black skin with silkie male over a non silkie female

I do have 6 more silkies from the other group that are waiting on someone, if they don't show by Saturday I'll post them in the auction here. They look great but the toe thing wasn't as good as we want and 2 of them are those blue/splash partridge odd balls that are perfect but wrong color.
