I have the same type of temporary wire wall. Not sure how much vertical space you’re working with. I actually did something right when I overbuilt my chicken coop. But to accommodate new grown chickens and new young chicks, I used 2x4s and chicken wire. I’d take a 10 foot section of chicken wire and staple the ends to 2x4s. Imagine a 2x4 and chicken wire scroll. I made a few sections of it so I can secure one end to something then roll it out to length. I kept 4in screws screwed into the 2x4s and just zipped them in or out to mount them. I used extra long screws so I could still anchor even with a few layers of chicken wire wrapped around the board. Standing one or two sections up on edge makes a quick isolation area that’s easy to get in and out of. Works well with the wire mesh stuff too but it’s a little harder to manipulate.
I made a wooden panel with 'tiny doors' that goes at the bottom.
