setting up incubator help please

hi, i have built an incubator and have managed to get the temperature to 100 degrees but now the humidity has dropped to 30. i have put a sponge in a cup of water but still hasnt helped, does it take a while for the humidity to kick in or am i doing something wrong. have eggs waiting to go in so any help much appreciated. Ash

Add another cup with another sponge perhaps I dont know. As long as the temp is steady you can have some flux in the humidity. Hopefully someone who knows more will answer you soon.

thankyou, havent really got the room for anymore cups and sponges though but i suppose ill have to if it coes to it and just put less eggs in it.
