several chicks I thought were males, Roo mated with

I have several chicks I thought were males that the Rooster has mated with so I hope that means they have to be females and I can keep them. My roo does such a great job of protecting my flock that I don't want to introduce any other males.
Is this decisive or could he just be bisexual?

Could be dominant behavior. Your roo is telling the other roos that he is the master of his domain.

Have you ever seen a male dog mount another male dog? There's nothing sexual about it, it's just social dominance. I'm thinking the same thing here........how old are your chicks? If they're very young, he shouldn't be bothering them at all. Maybe post pics and we can help with the boy/girl thing?
