This is a pullet that came from incubating a mixed egg. The confusing thing is we don't have any white chickens (besides the rooster below. We have australorp, copper marans, calico princess, dominique, EE, gold laced wyandotte, black sex link, and a few who are mixed. The roosters are dominique, red sex link, and the white mystery rooster also in this post. I'm just starting to learn a little about chicken genetics, but I don't know how we got a spotted chicken.

This one is a mystery. Got him as a chick and he was supposed to be a white maran pullet... Any idea on the possible breed? He is almost a year old and just started crowing last month. He hangs out with another rooster and 3 hens. I've never seen him act like a rooster around any hens whatsoever.

One more mystery chicken. Got this one as a chick. Not what she was supposed to be. No clue what this one is. A rooster recently pulled her saddle feathers out (he's gone now), but normally she's very full and fluffy, and gray and white.

It would be hard to say on the first. But not really confusing that she's white, since the Roo is white.
Second bird is an EE mix.
Depending on where you got her, the third one could either be a mix, or a possible Sex Link of some sort.

We actually thought the white rooster was a hen for the longest time, since he stays in a group with another rooster and they get along. We've never seen this white rooster mount any hens at all. Doesn't even act like a rooster. Only started crowing recently. Apparently, he's just sneaky about it.
