I audibly let out a little “awww” she’s looking great

That’s a tough spot to have a big ol scab like that. Do they pick on her at all besides because of the scab? Like are they accepting her okay otherwise?

And yes her tongue still seems a little wonky but she is eating fine. She just takes a bit longer to get the food down then the others. It still amazes me!
They seem to tolerate her just fine but then get curious about her head and start pecking. I do think they are trying to eat her scab. For the most part I’m still keeping her isolated besides short monitored time. I hope when it’s finally time to let her back with the rest of the flock they accept her.
It really is great to hear she has recovered so well. I, myself, would do exactly what you’re doing to try to get her re-integrated. Not a lot can be done about the attention her injury will draw until it heals, unfortunately. Sounds like they should accept her well with the amount of visits she’s already getting out there. Thanks so much for keeping us updated, often we never get to see how recovery goes past the first few weeks. It still amazes me!
