Severe loss of feathers on polish hen!!!

See attached photo. Looks like a large hole where there is no feathers around her bum (with droppings stuck around the outside). Very worried since she is still only a couple months old. None of my other hens have this problem. What should I do?

I can't see a picture. Can you clean her off with some soapy warm water and rinse her? If there is a deep wound, weak betadine may be better. Apply some plain Neosporin ointment to her vent area. Separate her for now. Has she been picked on by the others before? Is everyone the same age in her coop? Watch their behavior, and if you can when she heals for a day or two, let her out with the flock with your supervision to look for bullying. BluKote or Nustock can be food to hide wounds and prevent pecking, but only use them when she has healed some.
