Hello all I need some more advice/help again! I noticed recently that one of my older chicks has a very bad case of splayed leg. It had it when it was a chick but I fixed it with a small string and straw method. Everything went well until the last few weeks or so, he’s gotten massive, and his splayed leg has come back but worse. Instead of like his hip joint, it’s his foot, like where it bends. And the poor thing is miserable as he can only hobble around on the floor and I’ve tried fixing it but it never works. I’m running out of options and I’m desperate! Please help me! I’ll attach pics below

Could you post a couple of pictures of the chicken standing from the front or back? You may be dealing with a leg bone deformity such as varus or valgus deformity of twisted tendon, and those may affect only one leg or both legs.

Here’s some pics of him. He can’t stand straight, it affects his left leg. It’s almost completely turns outward. We don’t want to cull him as he’s from a rare breed so we want the best for him
