The purple is all disinfectant, aka where she has no skin and it’s just exposed muscle. It is actually looking a bit like she may have gotten stuck in some wire fence and skinned herself. I’m not sure what exactly happened since I found her after the fact.

The lungs are located on the back along the spine.
Do you mean a punctured air sac?
Is her skin swelling up with air or can you feel air coming out of a puncture?

Can you trim the feathers away from the wound along her breast/abdomen and get some more well lit photos?
Is that a puncture or hole?
