Sevin dust...5% dust at walmart ok for lice?

I was lookng today at sevin dust 5% dust at walmart would it be ok to get to dust my chickens with for lice?

I dont use it myself, but many do use the 5% Sevin for treating lice. Just dont get it in their face/nares/eyes.

So it would be ok just as long as I don't get it in their eyes or nose?

NO.Sevin dust is not recommended for use on/around animals. It can be used around the house (ie: baseboards, cracks, any holes, etc)...leave sit for approx 3 days then sweep into cracks or vacuum ALL the dust up. So it's away from pet exposure. You can make a liquid concentrate and spray just enough to moisten on the carpet, furniture, etc. and let dry, then wipe up any residue. Use approx 1 cup of powder to 1 gallon hot water.
