We recently dusted our Road Island Red Hens for mites with 5% sevin dust.

Will the eggs be affected and for how long?

I questioned an Ag professor at the University of Arkansas about this. I was concerned since the eggs are porous. He said to not worry about it. I still don't eat them for a couple of days after treating with Sevin, but I don't need the eggs real bad.
