Sex and Breed ID

The first pic is Shirly... who let out a loud crow and had serious attitude when i brought home Winchester (second pic)... Both are suppose 2 be hens, but Winchester has been steady and clearly crowing AND trying to make lil eggkins with Shirley... So now im confused.

I think #1 looks rooish (hackle and saddle feathers)
idk about #2 maybe hen since she doesnt seem to have hackle or saddle feathers

Did my pics backwards.... the first one crows loud and clearly.... and is herding all the rest. also, breeding.... the pic on the bottom acts like a hen but when i brought the other one home, she crowed too!

Any idea what type of breed they are...? not that it matters to me... i LOVE them! Just would like to know since people are always asking what type of chickens i have... I love them all the same...

1- is a EE/ cross bred rooster
2- is a game hen.

I don't think you herd a crow but more a squeak.

Hen Game and some time hens will make sounds something like a crow..games are one that does..she will make you a good setter if you would to hatch chicks...I have one (game) right now hatching chicks, but she has been setting for about 49 day...her first eggs (guinea) did not hatch she was off the nest for only 1 or 2 day and back she goes wants them chicks...she had 3 out of the eggs yesterday and more to go can't wait to get home to see what she has....
