I got these geese in June. I was told they were about 3 months old. I was also told that they were cottonpatch geese. I know that cottonpatch geese are really rare but thats what the lady told me. I do know that one has peach color legs and bill. The other one is kinda pink. Could anyone tell me what breed they are as well as their sex. Thanks.

Cotton Patch geese are in other words "cross-bred" geese used for weeding.. but id say the one with a grey head looks to be crossed with a Toulouse and the one with the white around the bill looks like it could be a hen pilgrim..

Actually Cotton Patch is a breed unto itself.
You can look them up on the feathersite. From what I read and saw I do not think they are Cotton Patch though. I could be wrong.

I had major doubts about them being cottonpatchs but they were only five dollars each. Not bad. My main thing is knowing which is a male/female.

Thanks Speckled. I love them they are so funny!! They love to chase my cats. Of course the cats kinda like it!!!

I don't either. I know in chickens that feather shape is an indicator. Also in ducks, the curly tail feather. Geese, I have no idea.
