Sex and Breed?

Any idea of Breeds or sex on these two babies? 2 pics of Nico (black and white)and 2 of Jo-Jo(Grey). I also have a few silkies. What age are you able to tell with them?

Barred Plymouth Rock cockerel and a blue something, likely also a cockerel

I think they are mixes. Your barred bird is single barred, and a pure barred rock cockerel would be double barred and lighter. The blue also looks to be a cockerel, and most likely has one parent with blue coloring.
