totally understandable. that second brahma seems very very sweet!
unfortunately their coloring makes the darker colors on wing even more likely to indicate male. females have the wing feathers the same shade as on body. on most males the wing area in particular is a darker by a shade or two than the body.
unfortunately- that sweet second brahma is definitely a male. clear signs of darker and pointy roo feathers coming out on his wing. there's no question about that one being male.
pic of the first brahma also unfortunatley makes me continue to think male- think I am seeing the darker and even some pointy feathers showing on his back- right behind the white 'collar'. no harm in asking for more opinions or trying again in a couple weeks when it matures some more.
am confident on the cochin being male- he has loads of pointy feathers all over neck and back. good news? lemon cuckoo is not a common color so that's a good find..? if you like the color, pair him with buff cochin hens for more lemon cuckoos as it's simply barring over a buff bird.
