Sex Link Question

So I'm aware crossing a BCM x Cream Legbar will result in a sex link, all black pullets, barred with white spot on head for cockrels. I was curious if BCM x Opal Leg Bar would be the same - only one hatched so far, has the white dot so I'm thinking cockrel but wanted to be sure.

As long as the Legbar is the mother and the BCM is the father, yes. If it's the other way around then all the chicks will have a spot on the back of the head.

Guess I'm back to square 1, I'll need to confirm with the person I purchased the eggs from but I believe based on the shell the BCM was the mother.
