Sex-Link Question

I have a r.i.r. roo and want to cross it so I can get some sex-link hens. Should I cross it with a Deleware hen or a White Rock hen? Which of these two breeds would give me a better layer, (the most and/or the biggest eggs)?

Personally I prefer the LOOK of the black sexlinks, so I'm crossing my RIR rooster with Barred Rocks.

I have a dominique pullet too, I'm sure I'll hatch some of her chicks from my RIR as well, but as of yet she's about 8 weeks old so I don't know how they will turn out.

Has anyone ever hatched chicks from a R.I.R roo with a Dominique hen? If so can you show pics and give us some info on your experience please?

Most people use Barred Rocks I have never heard of people using Delewares or White Rocks.

Dominiques are kinda rare, remember? I got 3 at a swap meet, and only one is a pullet, but that means I have a pair so I will have more later.

A solid color roo over any barred hen will still make black sexlinks

Right now I have a Dominique pullet and 2 Cuckoo Marans pullets that'll probably be throwing black sexlinks from my RIR rooster, when I don't have them in a breeding pen with their own breed roo.
