If a Barred Rock hen is mated to a red Easter Egger rooster will the resulting young be black sex-links? Will they still lay green or blue eggs?

From my understanding, almost anything crossed with a barred hen with make a black sex link. As for the eggs, im not sure. I believe some will lay brown eggs and some will lay blue eggs. The eggs might be olive as well, again, I'm not too sure.

They will still have the blue egg genes, but it could throw anything from blu/green, pink and/or a light brown

Yep, pretty sex link easter eggers! The males might not have the classic barred look, due to the wild card genetics of the easter egger, but they will have a white spot on the head at hatch and have some type of barring. Same for the females, they won't necessarily have the mostly black appearance of the classic black sex link, but they'll have solid heads at hatch.
Pea comb pullets will be your best bets to lay colored eggs.
