Sex- linked Information

Yes, you will get black sexlinks. The black pullets are not useful for working toward an autosexing strain, but the cockerel could be bred back to the biel hens. Some intensive selection over a few generations would get you to a true autosexing chicken. If you are doing this for fun and learning, it would make a great project. If you are trying to create an autosexing dark egg layer, you would do much better to get one of these breeds that already does that:
Golden Cuckoo Marans - Crele colored, autosexing Marans
Welbars - Crele Welsummer, fully autosexing
It would be more of a hobby project. If anything, my goal would be to just create a better meat bird for roosters I can't use. Marans have superior meat taste, but Bielefelders grow very quickly. May toss in some Barbezieux later on to further improve flavor and see what I get. Thanks for the info

Perhaps this article will help answer your questions:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/scratchcradle.wordpress.com/2012/08/26/gms9-autosexing-recipe/amp/

lays out the process of creating an autosexing chicken pretty thoroughly and i found it very informative.
Thanks!

Sounds neat! I'm contemplating such a project too with doms and easter eggers. I think it could be a cool experience--and after all, if one is already breeding BSLs one is already part of the way there... :)

LoL.. make me wonder that 2nd RSL could be better than their parents (look from body shape), and how about the hens look like....?

Well she is not as pretty but she I'd very production large light brown eggs!

I have a question. I have a rooster who is a golden laced wyandotte x RIR. If I crossed him with silver campine hens, would I get any kind of sex linked chicks? If they are, they would be red sex links, correct? Also, is there any way to make sex links with the leg color, since Pippin( GLW x RIR) has light yellow legs, and the silver campine hens have grey/slate? colored legs(i am not super sure as to how to call leg colors, sorry)? I'm pretty sure you can do that with silkies and cochin bantams, I believe. Also, the silver campines were sold to me as Egyptian fayoumis, but the rooster I got, Hades, has no male feathering, so I am assuming that they are not Egyptian fayoumis.

It should be a red sex link. I am curious to see these chicks. Wether or not they are chipmunk, mottled, spotted, wildtype, or what? Clearly identifying the cream or whitish placement in the patterns of the male chicks may be challenging too. The females ought to look redder throughout either way.
