I'm not sure about different weights at different ages, if you could post a pic, I could tell you if they are Leghorns, Sexlinks, or another white breed.
OK Yep those are definitly Leghorns, slender bodies, white ear lobs, upright carriage, no red markings like sexlinks, they are leghorns all the way. But unfortunately, they dont make the best meat birds. You wont get much of a dinner from them lol
Well crap. They were supposed to be sexlinks... guess they'll be in the pot pie... I've got one more in the coup with the other birds just like em. What's their top weight?
I have sex link hens. I was wanting to breed them with a BR or a RIR, will the offspring still be a combination chicken? Will they be good for both meat and eggs?

I have a pullet from a red sex-link hen and a RIR rooster. She is very pretty. She's red with white feathers on her neck and tail. Looks like a good dual-purpose bird.
If I breed an olive egger male (BCM father x Americauna Mother) he is black with purple green sheen, to a Barred Rock female will the chicks be sexlinked? Males being barred females being black? Why or why not?
